Smartwatch 2 will be unveiled by Sony in September
It is rumored that Sony has planned the release date of the new smartwatch 2 for September this year. It is a new and improved watch based on the previous model. The official release date was finally announced as being 9th September, after it was set to be 15th July and after Clove, the UK retailer announced that they will ship starting with 15th July. But as we can see, today nothing is showing around, no smartwatch 2. Besides, they didn’t spread so many information about the new device, but we hope that as long as time flies and September comes, we will be officially informed and maybe they will also let us know some numbers, and when I say numbers I refer to the price for which the Sony Smartwatch 2 will be available.
As our source states, the Android Smartwatch 2 will arrive with lots of improvements. The Android accessory will show off with a 1.6 inch 220 x 176 resolution touchscreen, with a brightness sensor which will be able to change the intensity of light according to the exposure medium. If you are inside or outside, it will help you to have the chance to see perfect no matter what. The material was improved and instead of plastic this is now stainless steel and aluminium. Smartwatch 2 Pulls caller ID, messages, Facebook and Twitter notifications, music information and control and pairs via Bluetooth with NFC.
When you are not connected to any device, smartphone or tablet, the Smartwactch will act as a normal watch, showing the time, alarm and offering the possibility to surf in the old notifications. Important to mention is also that Sony Smartwatch 2 will now align to the IP57 standards for water and dust resistence. It sounds really exciting and I can’t wait to have it on my wrist.
