Galaxy Note 3 Lite Won’t be Heading to US or UK
Rumors of a new Galaxy Note 3 version have spread in the last two weeks more than ever, but now Samsung has just confirmed the existence of this handset in a short statement, also mentioning that it won’t be heading to US or UK. We have seen leaked photos, we have heard about its technical specs and we even have an idea about its price, so there was nothing to be afraid of, excepting the possibility of a limited availability. But sometimes it happens exactly what you fear the most, so there is nothing to do at this point about that. Returning to this statement that we have told you about, it seems that there is no further information given.
We only know that Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite will reach only to some select countries or regions, which means that the handset will be heading exclusively to those emerging markets ideal for low-budget phones.
So, Samsung will probably announce the pricing options and the availability in each market only when the smartphone will be ready and the first one on the list could actually be a Belgian retailer with a price tag of no less than €599.
Even more, Samsung also wants to clarify another aspect: the device will finally come to market called the Note 3 Lite rather than Neo, being, as its name suggests, a slightly smaller version of the current Galaxy Note 3. Who doesn’t want a Note-class handset at a lower price point?
We all know the answer to this question, so what do you say about its leaked details? They point to a 5.5-inch 720p display, 2GB of RAM and 16GB storage with microSD expansion, as well as a Mali-T624 GPU and maybe even a hexa-core processor, as our source also stated. So, it is true that the specs are rumored to be lower than the Galaxy Note 3, but the price should be too and that’s exactly what so many of us might need now.
Let’s hope that this Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite will still make an appearance at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this February in order to confirm all these specs.
