Galaxy S5 Release Date confirmed

It seems that there are a lot of confusing news these day concerning the rolling out of the long-expected Samsung Galaxy S5, with a lot of people stating different rumors. It might be also the case of Eldar Murtazin, a Russian blogger, who posted on Twitter that the Korean smartphone manufacturer would launch its new out of the box Galaxy S5 just before the Mobile World Congress to be soon in Barcelona. At first, it seemed like another rumor, since Samsung has made a hobby out of releasing its special events trough some official statements made in front of the press.

Murtazin also stated that he was given an invitation to the great event closing the Sochi Olympic Winter Games, taking place on the 23rd of February, which is the exact day that Samsung would be launching its Galaxy S5. I really don’t know what to think on that; is it pure a coincidence or is Samsung really preparing the launch on that particular day? There is more to be announced during this article.

As our source mentions, the Galaxy S5 could appear on the day it was “unofficially” announced. Perhaps Samsung is preparing this day to make its big entrance in front of hundreds of athletes and thousands of people participating at the Sochi Olympic Games. It would be indeed a wonderful experience, since the S5 was expected to appear at the end of April.

And now comes the fun part: there was another news which Murtazin has let word to the world on Twitter, stating that the Korean manufacturer didn’t make up its mind concerning the launch of the handset on the 23rd of February as the leaked day, or in London as it was once rumored.

This updated news was a confirmation of what I have stated at the beginning of this article, telling you that we really don’t have to believe everything is being rolled out into the air via the social media.

I am sticking to what Samsung said in 2012, when it promised that the period between the announcement and the release date of its devices would not be too much of a difference.
