Galaxy S4 Zoom spotted at FCC; Release Date soon to be announced
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is analysing the Samsung SM-C101 (after we have noticed the same at the Bluetooth SIG) handset for approval. Among the few specifications available, the device has quad-band GSM, AT&T-compatible HSPA+, NFC, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 LE. It’s also rumored to have a 16 megapixel camera and 10x optical zoom. If this is true, it will be one of the finest camera-phones out on the market. The Galaxy S4 Zoom lacks LTE so it may not be available in the US, unless a special version will be released. Other specs include a 4.3″ qHD Super AMOLED display, 1.6GHz chipset, 8GB of storage, expandable via the onboard microSD card slot, and Android Jelly Bean.
Samsung will participate to an event on June 20, so this may be the time they will announce if the rumors about the Galaxy S4 Zoom device are true or not. It is also said that it will be both water and dust resistant. This are all the infos we have now, but we will get back to you when we find out more.
So, what do you say will this new version of the Galaxy S4 be made available soon enough, or those interested in getting the device should wait for an official statement to be made available? Unfortunately, there are no words about the S4 Zoom future price, or market availability, though from what we know so far, an US event isn’t yet possible. Anyway, stay close as we will update you with news as soon as something fresh comes out.
