How to enable Galaxy S8+ Camera Quick Launch
Samsung has a tendency to overload its users with excessive features and settings, yet many of them are really useful. Let’s take this example: double tapping the home button was the fastest way to launch the camera on the Galaxy S6 and S7 and we have all done that. But with the Galaxy S8+ eschewing the home button, Samsung had to come up with a new way to quickly launch the camera. Don’t you know how to enable Galaxy S8+ Camera Quick Launch? I can help you with that!
By default, the Galaxy S8+ will launch the camera app if you double press the Power button. You can choose whether to Turn Off or Keep On the first time you use this shortcut. However, if you were too quick to dismiss the helpful shortcut feature at the beginning, there is no reason to worry about.
The idea is that you can go into the phone’s settings panel to turn it back on and I hope that you will be lucky!I am saying that as long as some while some users tried to set up their S8+, they noticed that the quick launch shortcut didn’t work as advertised.
They probably applied the below steps, and started digging into the settings to manually toggle the feature, but the result was the same for the Indian variant of the Samsung Galaxy S8+ (SM-G955FD) with build number G955FXXU1AQDD. The Korean company may roll out a software update to bring the quick launch functionality to the phone, but for the moment, it isn’t there!
How to enable Galaxy S8+ camera quick launch:
- Open the Settings panel;
- Then, simply tap on Advanced Features;
- Finally, tap the Quick launch Camera shortcut to enable it.
