Nexus 8 Tablet with Android 4.5 Expected in July
Reports and also rumors state that a next-generation of Nexus tablet will be rolled out sooner than expected. We might be talking about the forthcoming Nexus 8 tablet to be launched somewhere in July, and what`s interestingly, the device would run the latest Android system, which is the so called Android 4.5. More than that, the reports also mentions that the Nexus 8, as the name states, would sport an 8-inch sized-display, which is a clear indication that Google will move on to bigger displays, renouncing its 7-inch sized-tablets.
Sundar Pichai, the chief at Android and Chrome, stated in an interview that the Google Company will be the host of the forthcoming I/O 2014, due on the 25th and the 26th of June, promising to focus on fresh new services. Another report from the DigiTimes claims that the Google based tablet manufacturer will be rolling out its Nexus 8 a little bit sooner, in April, with shipments to exceed 2 million units. Time will give us a clue if the rumor will be eventually confirmed or not.
Asus is going to be the “responsible” mind behind the manufacturing of the Nexus 8 tablet, and not the LG smartphone manufacturer as it was previously rumored. The same DigiTimes publication confirms this news into an early report.
The Nexus 8 running on the reportedly Android 4.5 is expected to compete on the market with the famous tablets from Samsung`s Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 or the LG`s 8.3-inch screen with Google Play Edition. There will be more news to come with the tablet in the following period.
Just remember that all these are rumors and we are not 100% sure about it, as we rely only on some reports and rumors. But as all rumors launched into the air will eventually become a certainty. What do you think it will happen in July? Are we looking indeed at the forthcoming Nexus 8 running on Android 4.5? We will keep you posted.
