$199.99 Verizon Galaxy Note 2 Price Thanks To Galaxy Note 3 Rumors
There have been rumors regarding a Galaxy Note 3 release this year and so, the price tag for Verizon Galaxy Note 2 dropped at $199.99, for a two-year agreement with the phone company. The offer is available for both available colors of the device and it hasn’t been announced yet whether this is a permanent or a limited time sale. However, this is a huge drop for the phablet that is considered at the time being one of the best Android smartphones on the market. The price could have also been cut because of the Samsung Galaxy S4 being on shelves. Galaxy Note 3 is expected to make its debut in Q3.
The Galaxy Note 2 comes with an impressive large 3100 mAh battery, a front-facing 1.9 megapixel camera and a rear 8 megapixel one. The S Pen is useful for image editing and hand-writing notes and e-mails. The handset has LTE connectivity and runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
Among other specs, we must mention the 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display with a 1280 x 720 resolution and 2GB of RAM with 16GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot (up to 64GB). Also, it has a quad-core 1.6GHz Exynos processor and has Bluetooth v 4.0 LE connectivity. It also supports WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4 & 5 GHz), Wi-Fi HT40 and Wi-Fi Direct.
The Galaxy Note 3s specs haven’t been announced yet, still rumors say that we could expect a 13 megapixel rear-facing camera with optical stabilization, a 2 megapixel front-facing one, 5.99-inch Full HD display and 3GB of RAM. It might also run the latest Android Jelly Bean Version. We’ll just have to wait and see about that until Samsung shares the information.
