Learning a new language is difficult, so don’t act so surprised to discover that there is a huge market of tools and Android apps aiming to help you. However, don’t let yourself fooled by appearances. The list of app that are really helpful is an extremely short one, so don’t waste your time. Instead of doing such diggings, my advice is to focus your attention towards an app that already won the trust of millions of users worldwide.

Anki, Japanese for “memorizing,” is a flashcard program that’s been ready to help you since 2006 and their app known as AnkiDroid Flashcards is the best language learning app that you can install onto your Android device.

As you can guess from its name, this is nothing else than a flashcard style program as it is focused on memorization. To be more precise, it can display you a word, phrase, image, or even play a sound, and then leave it to you to make the connections, repeat it, interpret it and so on in order to make memorizing easier than ever. I hve no doubts about the fact that flashcards are so simple that many learners still tend to underestimate their power. We’re all used to look for more, but the simplicity, especially in digitized forms, is the very feature that makes them so powerful.

Even more, even if Anki is an amazing choice when it comes to learning a new language, note that it’s also useful for studying equations or diagrams, brushing up on geography, learning impossibly long poems and not only. And the fact that you have the possibility to load it up with custom card sets depending on what it is you want to memorize is also a major advantage.

Anki is free, but donations to support the developer are accepted. Why should you do this? Well, the app worked for me and for so many other users, so that’s why I consider it as being the best. In fact, such an app is much more efficient than any other traditional study method that you might try and it helps you decrease your time spent studying, but drastically increase the amount you learn.

Take AnkiDroid Flashcards from here and let me know if I am right. It’s only up to you to give it a try!
