Easily Root Sony Xperia M2 Dual D2303

Are you thinking of unleashing the full potential of your Sony Xperia M2 Dual D2303 phone? Then, you probably already know that rooting it is mandatory and here you can find a step by step guide which will be more than useful as during the following guidelines you can learn how to easily root your Sony Xperia M2 Dual device by flashing a dedicated root exploit through the recovery mode menu.

However, there are some important preparatory steps that you cannot skip if you want to apply this operation. Before getting started with the rooting procedure, access Menu – Settings – About phone and tap several times on Built Number for gaining Developer Rights and then, access Menu – Settings – Developer options in order to check the USB Debugging field on your own Xperia M2 Dual.

Make sure that you have downloaded the appropriate USB drivers and installed them in your computer in order to connect it to your smartphone successfully. Then, you must also unlock the bootloader of your Xperia branded device and don’t forget to take a backup of your important data such as contacts, call logs, text messages, calendar info, images, passwords, apps, videos, audio files, internet settings, IMEI / NVRAM data and more because during the root process all these will be wiped out.

No less important, you have to plug in the charger on your M2 Dual if the battery status currently shows less than 60% power left or else you risk bricking it if it turns off during the root procedure. As you probably know so far, gaining root access isn’t something that is officially supported by manufacturers. Are you ready to assume this risk?

In such conditions, if you gain root access on your device, you can forget all about the warranty that might be left on your Sony Xperia M2 Dual D2303. While there are certain methods of restoring it (like this guide on How to Restore the Warranty on your Android device), there are no guarantees that the warranty department won’t know what you’ve did.
