How to Play AC3 Audio Format with Android AC3 Player
When it comes to watching videos on my Android smartphone, MX Player was all that I needed for a long time. However, things changed last year. MX Player stopped supporting AC3 and some other audio format due to some problems and that’s how my favorite choice ended up at the end of the list.
I am talking about AC3, MLP, DTS or Dolby, which practically means that if you load a high-res, high-quality container with your favorite TV series, you might be unpleasantly surprised and find yourself in the position of looking for an alternative.
It’s true that many developers on XDA came up with some solutions (such as the possibility to restore full audio codec support with MX Player on your Android device, courtesy of XDA-Dev senior member ktsamy and not only), but this time they are not the best choice. These solutions are simply not working with the latest version of MX Player, so for me it was time to move on. And so I did!
MX Player for Android was once the best Video Player App to choose from so many options(with advantages such as the fact that you can pinch-and-zoom your video size, that you can enjoy subtitles or customize the Video Player as you want and not only), but now, my new choice is none other than AC3 Player and as you can easily guess from its name, this player can play almost all the file formats including the AC3 audio format which other video players can’t play.
Even more, it’s impossible not to like the fact that the AC3 Player follows the material guidelines established by Google, so it has an easy to use and pleasantly looking user interface. Another advantage is that AC3 Player has gesture supports like volume or brightness and don’t leave aside the fact that it has subtitle support (to be more specific, it supports multiple subtitle formats and also has subtitle synchronization function).
And the features list also includes automatic search all mobile phone video and music files, small memory, quick start, as well as smooth playback support, so forget all about the old MX Player and embrace the new AC3 Player.
Do you want to give it a try? My advice is to grab it from this direct Google Play like and don’t waste any more of your time. Install it now and don’t hesitate to return and tell me what you think of it.
