Make your Android Fingerprint Reader Work Better

Fingerprint readers on phones have made devices more secure and easier than ever to unlock, at least when they work on the first try. In general, the fingerprint scanner in latest flagship phones is quick and accurate, but when you get that No Match message while trying to unlock your smartphone, it turns into a real frustration. To help curb these issues and make your Android Fingerprint reader work better, there is a simple tip that you should know about.

Well, my advice is to register the same print two or three times. It’s not a waste of time, but if you do that, then you basically make your handset much more likely to unlock the first time around. When you register your fingertip the first time around, it isn’t clear which parts of your print the software has captured.

You are just urged to lift your finger to capture more area, but this doesn’t reflect the data your phone’s actually storing. Since most companies only allows you to register 4 or 5 fingerprints at the very best, you’re not going to be able to scan each of your 10 fingers, so why not choosing to register the same finger multiple times?

By laying down the same fingerprint more than once, you’re maximizing the chances that your phone will capture enough data and solve the problem.

Make your Android Fingerprint Reader Work Better:

  1. First things first, open Settings;
  2. Then, tap Security;
  3. Now, you have to head to Fingerprint and tap it;
  4. After that, it’s time to re-enter your PIN;
  5. Tap “Add fingerprint” and you are good to go. Like that, you’ll be able to unlock your Android device quicker and errors will become a part of the past. However, keep in mind that all duplicates in the world cannot solve some of your unlocking issues – for example, if you constantly have your hands are too wet for the phone to register your print, this leads to zero improvements.
