Learn to Hide Accidental Instagram Like
Instagram has become the favorite social network of many Android users, so you might say that you are one of them and know it all. Maybe you are right! Or maybe not! There are also early users or those who just want to take their usage to the next level and Instagram has some lesser-known tricks and settings for these ones and for those experimented too.
What to do when you accidentally like someone’s Instagram picture? Accidents do happen, so stop panicking for nothing. You can hide your accidental Instagram Like, but I have to warn you from the start that you might not like what you are about to hear. Whether you’re willing to leave things as they are and move on or not, it’s only up to you.
Changing your name, your entire bio and profile photo are some of the steps involved in the process, so think twice if this is actually necessary. You know it better than me! And you should hope that the person in cause hasn’t noticed a thing. Instagram is clear that if you’ve accidentally liked a photo and then unliked it, the person who posted it will still get a push notification if they have notifications turned on. However, after you remove a like, the like alert will disappear from other people’s Activity too.
And before getting started, make sure you’re operating on the latest version of Instagram.
Learn to Hide Accidental Instagram Like:
- To make things better, switch your account to private – if you’re public in the first place, of course;
- Then, you need to go to your Instagram page;
- While here, it’s time to click on the profile icon at the bottom-right corner;
- Now, click on Edit Profile option at the top of your page;
- Change your name, bio and profile photo.
It might sound like a lot of work to do and I don’t say that it isn’t, but if you’re in a position in which you really can’t afford to actually like that strange photo, then you know it’s worth it.
