Grab Google Camera on your Motorola One Power

Google Camera is an application which comes pre-built in the Pixel device and Android One Series. You probably heard of it so many times before that you even become mad. Why does everyone enjoy amazing goodies and your Motorola One Power doesn’t? The Google Pixel 3 and 3 XL brings a lot of camera features and everyone noticed how awesome Night sight and HDR+ are.

Called HDR+, the technology does wonders in actions. Well, it doesn’t only increase dynamic range, like traditional HDR modes, but reduces noise and improve colors too. As for the Night Sight feature, it allows users to click a picture in a dark environment and the camera software will turn the picture into a bright picture without making use of LED flash. The all new Night Sight feature is now ported for Motorola One Power. Yes, you may now enjoy the modded version of Google Camera for Motorola One Power.

One day, the XDA-Member Ivanich has continued work on his modification of the Google Camera port to optimise it for Snapdragon 820 and Snapdragon 821 devices such as the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T. And now, an XDA Senior member, ARNOVA8G2 ported the Google Camera for your Motorola One Power too.

The camera can be one of your handset’s highlights now

Well, I am not saying that you don’t own a great device. However, Motorola smartphones used to be known for their good build quality, near-stock Android UI, as well as quick updates. The camera has never been though one of the highlights. The One Power has a dual camera setup at the back, and the camera module houses both lenses along with a dual-tone LED flash.

The dual camera setup at the back consists of a 16-megapixel primary sensor with PDAF and a 5-megapixel secondary depth sensor. At the front, the phone packs a 12-megapixel selfie shooter with an f/2.0 aperture. Amd the camera app is by Motorola and comes with Photo, Video, Portrait, and Expert modes to choose from, but none of them matches the Google Camera wonder.

So, are you ready for the big change? Before that, keep in mind that the port is reported to have some bugs in it. This includes EIS, video focus and slow-motion quality. Anyway, every bug is fixable and in the coming ports, so don’t let these scare you off.
