How to Turn On Adaptive Power Saving mode on Galaxy S10 Plus
Don’t you love your new Galaxy S10 Plus smartphone? I know how it feels, but don’t you fool yourself into thinking that you own the perfect handset. Like it or not, squeezing as much life out of each charge is something all users will ultimately face. The sooner you accept it, the better. With just a few tweaks to settings and features, you can get the most of your handset’s battery. And never forget about turning on that greatAdaptive power saving mode.
With Android 9 Pie, Google is addressing the issue we are all complaining about by rolling out a set of tools that improve battery life. There’s obviously this Adaptive Battery mode that leverages machine learning to understand your daily app usage, allowing only apps that see regular usage to run in the background.
Since it relies on machine learning, you should understand that Adaptive Battery will improve over time as it monitors apps to determine your typical use patterns. What it’s really looking for is a list of apps that you don’t often use. The system will put these infrequently used apps into a low-power state.
This might make you think of Android Marshmallow’s App Standby feature that hibernates apps you didn’t use and you aren’t the only one saying it. Except now, the system has varying levels of hibernation that it can put your apps into based on your usage. So, it works better than ever.
