LG G2 Mini – Set for a MWC 2014 Launch
LG has just confirmed that its rumored LG G2 Mini is set for a MWC 2014 launch by using the official Facebook page. We must admit that the image here posted is a little different than what we are generally used to see: in three of the four included panels we can find a normal-sized sneaker, as well as a cupcake and even a starfish – all accompanied by a smaller bright pink version; as for the fourth panel, you can find the LG G2 device and its smaller upcoming brother, also with pink lens flair over its camera. The photo comes with the words “experience the MINI”, so let’s just see what this G2 Mini handset has to offer and if it is indeed something new and unique to experience.
Experience the Mini
The small version of LG G2 will have to face some serious competition up this year; no one can deny that HTC One mini and even Sony Xperia Z1 Compact are among its strongest competitors, so here we are to help you discover if this device stands any chance in such a “battle”.
Despite of the fact that there is no official mention of its included technical specs, we have plenty of previous rumors letting us to make a first impression about this LG G2 Mini phone. What do you say about a 4.3-inch 960 x 540 pixel resolution display? Were you expecting something better than that? From what we know at this point, the company has already choose such a display, while the power is going to be offered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor paired with 2GB of RAM.
We might not be talking about impressive high-end specs, but this is something that we are used to experience when it comes to finding out about a new mini version of an already popular smartphone. Moreover, LG G2 Mini is also said to feature the Android 4.4 KitKat version, of course with several other LG additions, as our source confirms, which isn’t at all a bad thing.
More LG Unveilings
There have been several reports that we should be expecting at much more LG unveilings for this MWC event. It seems that the company will also launch both its LG G3 and LG G2 Pro handsets (and we already know that these ones will be the one offering much higher specs that what we have just seen from this LG G2 Mini). So, don’t hesitate to check on us later; we will keep you posted!
