Pantech Vega Iron 2 Android Smartphone to launch with Snapdragon 805 Chipset
We had different scenarios when thinking about the fist device that is supposed to sport the new Snapdragon 805 chipset, but there’s something that we can tell you for sure. None of them included the upcoming Pantech Vega Iron 2 Android smartphone, but this is the reality and no one can deny that. This is the first device to launch with no less than four Krait 450 cores running at 2.5GHz and Adreno 420 graphics as a part of the most recent SoC chipset from Qualcomm which is expected to become the standard for the upcoming high-end smartphone handsets.
Decent Technical Specs and Features
Pantech Vega Iron 2 is the successor of the original Pantech Vega series smartphone and from what we know at this point, its technical specs are decent enough, if not even interesting for some of you, including a 1080p 5.5 inch screen size , as well as both a 13 megapixel main camera and a 3MP front camera.
Moreover, Pantech Vega Iron 2 has USB 3.0 ports and a large 2,800 mAh battery capacity, not to mention that it is said to be running on Android, although the version is not known as this point. But we’ll probably find out in the near future as well.
To become Available via all Major Korean Carriers
The Pantech Vega Iron 2 device is expected to come in different M-A910S, M-A910K, M-A910L, and M-A910D versions, with the mention that the first three models are the ones expected to become available via all major Korean carriers, while the last one is dedicated to overseas markets. As for the release date, Pantech intends to launch this Vega Iron 2 in April, but the exact date is yet to be revealed.
We’ll be back with all these details and more in the near future, so stay tuned!
Now that looks nice.
Good job Pantech.
