Sony Press Conference for IFA Berlin 2014 Live Update
Sony press conference has started and we’re giving live coverage from the scene. We’re exited about what they are going to show us in the IFA Berlin 2014 event. Follow the updates and get ready for some goodies!
Until now, it’s only a recap of previous Sony products like Sony Xperia Z2, PlayStation 4, cameras and they want to make sure that the audience understands how Sony is dedicated to European market by offering their best products, latest technology.
President of Sony Europe has the word now. We are 15 minutes into the conference and nothing interesting happened yet. We hope to see something Android-ish soon as the conference is set to last 45 minutes and Sony is not as good as Samsung when it comes to entertainment for the audience.
First product is presented, Sony 4K TV. Great! Moving on now. Still no Android around.
Sony Alpha 7S camera. It has great auto-focus specs but it’s not so good for selfies so no way people are going to enjoy it so much :).
I know some of you might find interesting this picture:
15 minutes left and I can’t believe I’m stuck here for 30 minutes already and got to see ILCE-QX1 and DSC-QX30 products, which to be honest, are pretty cool but not my kind of gear.
Finally, some more interesting gear. SmartWatch 3 as you can see in the picture below, which is optimized for the future Google wearable updates. It has a battery life of 2 days which is nice. Sony is now presenting their prototype of smart eye glasses.
Moving on to smartphones! That’s what I wanted to hear.
Sony Xperia Z3: 7.3 thickness, <2mm bezel, 4 colours, battery life up to 2 days. We’re going to expand these information in a few minutes.
Great pictures even in low light with ISO 12800, Hi-Res Audios.
Ok, so the conference is about to end and goodies just came to light. I’ll name them and we’ll gonna talk about them after everything settles down.
So, in the order of appearance:
Sony Xperia Z3 Compact
Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact
Sony E3: called as having good specs on low budget
And in the end, Sony Xperia Z3 is the only smartphone on the market on which you can enjoy gaming via PS4 remote controller.
