Motorola confirms: Moto X and Moto G will be a part of Android 5.0 L rollout
Motorola’s Moto X and Moto G handsets are not equipped with the best specs of the moment, but this doesn’t have to mean that they are not popular or that they don’t have their buyers. On the contrary, both these smartphones are appreciated so we are glad to inform you that Motorola’s own customer support has confirmed that both Moto X and Moto G devices will be a part of Android 5.0 L rollout.
Motorola Promises the most Recent Updates for its Devices
A while ago, rumors about these Moto X and Moto G devices prepared for an Android L update have been spread on a statement from the company’s supposedly Facebook page, but that page was a fake one. As a response to that news, Motorola never stated that the Moto X and Moto G aren’t going to get the update, but the company has only declared that the Facebook page wasn’t associated with them.
This time, we all know that customer support isn’t usually the place that you’d expect to find details about an upcoming firmware update, but this is definitely an exception. After all, Motorola has assured us that even after Lenovo takes over charge, we are still going to receive the most recent updates and Moto X and Moto G are the best example of that.
Android 5.0 L update for More Handsets
While we know for sure that Moto X and Moto G handsets are going to get the Android 5.0 L update, it seems that we have no details regarding the possibility of seeing Motorola’s Moto E updated too.
Will this smartphone be included in the update list? Let’s hope that we’ll find out that as soon as possible.
As for other popular companies from the current market, HTC has already officially announced that it will roll out the L update within 90 days of receiving the source code from Google, while Nexus devices are scheduled to receive the Android L update no later than this fall.
