We all like the Xiaomi phones and the CyanogenMod ROM especially thanks to their amazing theming capability. It seems that we are not the only ones knowing that, but other popular manufacturers such as HTC realized it as well. Are you also one of those who don’t really love the interface on your shiny new HTC One M9 device? Who said that there is nothing that you can do about it?
The handset comes pre-loaded with an inbuilt theme engine that allows you to change almost every aspect of the phone’s UI. You can be the one who chooses to create a whole new look or you can simply download other people’s creations – everything is now possible as long as HTC has unleashed this amazing Theme Maker.
Even more, you have the chance to browse and create themes directly on your HT handset, but if you don’t feel comfortable doing that, you can choose to do it online from a computer and then have them appear on your device. Just feel free to change the wallpapers for different screens on your phone, to choose bold colors, new icons, the font that suits you the best and even the sounds that might relax you.
If you want to share your creation with other HTC One M9 users, you can even can publish it to the HTC Theme Maker and allow other people to download it if they like it.
How to Create / Download Themes for HTC One M9 with HTC Theme Maker:

You are done! Customizing the look of the Sense ROM was never so easy and fun, don’t you think? Creating smartphone themes requires no pro qualification, but only patience and lots of creativity. And if you like the taste of it, keep in mind that you can use the simpler Theme maker, but there is also a Maker Pro version which gives you even more options than this one.
As we have told you before, the Theme Maker is exclusively for the HTC One M9 for now, but we must admit that we truly hope to see the new theme engine making its way to some older devices through software updates, but there is no official word on that at this point.
As for the new ones, any phone that launches with Sense 7 should also get access to these theme creation tools. We’ll keep an eye on things and return with more details.
