How to Remove Voicemail Notification on Essential PH1

Android is amazing and I say it every day, yet it isn’t perfect. The OS that I love also has some groovy features that I’d like to never see again and one of them is the fact that a feature does its best to remind users when a new voicemail arrives, yet it isn’t always working as it should. There are times when the notification shows up even when there are no voicemails, while sometimes it shows up just because a voicemail wasn’t marked as read by the service provider.

Do you know what I mean? Are you also looking for a way to remove the Voicemail Notification from your Essential PH1 device? Don’t you have any unread messages, but still get a voicemail indicator bugging you? This isn’t only happening to you, but this voicemail indicator will always be displayed by your Essential PH1 even without any unread messages.

Like that, every time you get a new message, you could be misled into thinking that it nothing more than the notification that can’t disappear. In this way, you might end up ignoring an important message that requires your immediate attention.

There is a way through which you can solve this problem. Note that this article was written using an Essential PH1, so don’t apply the below handsets on any other device.
