Enable Dark Theme on your Huawei P20 Pro
There is no secret that the Huawei P20 smartphone has a few nice features on board that will help you customize the interface of Android or the EMUI and that dark theme is definitely one of the most interesting ones. With the P20 Pro sporting a 6.1-inch OLED display, one of the first things you’ll probably want to do is to enable the Dark Theme to help the battery juice last a bit longer.
I must warn you from the very start that this isn’t targeting users looking for a new design mode, but it comes more as a battery saving option. To be more precise, it can convert the complete menu into black colors. For many, this might sound a bit too much for a device such as your Huawei P20 Pro as long as it packs a massive 4,000mAh battery, but my advice for you is to think twice before saying anything else.
You will get at a point when the battery life turns into an issue sooner or later and such a trick is just what you need for such days.
The setting isn’t quite where you might expect it to be though.
How to Enable Dark Theme on your Huawei P20 Pro:
- Open the Settings app. Well, you can do it by locating the shortcut on your home-screen or by simply scrolling down the notification panel and tapping on the Gear icon found at the top-right;
- Continue to the submenu Battery where you will find various options, including the one that you’ll use right away;
- So, your next step is to scroll down to Darken Interface Colors;
- Now, it’s time to tap the toggle in order to enable the dark theme.
Pretty simple, right? Now you can enjoy your Huawei P20 Pro with a darker theme and show it off to your friends and family members. The phone still looks amazing, but would also be saving power to give greater endurance.
