Easily Unlock Bootloader on Huawei Y6 Prime Device
A Bootloader is a code which runs when we turn on our device. This code that we are talking about initializes some hardware and then loads the kernel and ramdisk, and gets the boot process going. - If you want to unlock the bootloader of your device, then you need to follow the ADB and Fastboot method. It is the only method working right now to unlock the bootloader of Huawei Y6 Prime, so download and Install ADB and Fastboot Driver;
- Your device’s battery must be at least 60% charged if not even full.
Detailed procedure:
- Switch off your device;
- Then, go to a fastboot option by pressing Power + Volume Down simultaneously;
- Now, you have to open the command prompt window in the same folder where you have installed the ADB and fastboot. Do so by holding the Shift button and clicking on the right button of your mouse;
- Connect your Huawei Y6 Prime to the computer and let it detect your device so that it can install all the necessary drivers itself;
- Now, type this command in Command Prompt/Powershell window:
adb devices - Enter these commands:
fastboot device
fastboot Oem unlock
fastboot reboot - Whеn уоu’rе finiѕhеd, uѕе thе оn-ѕсrееn mеnu tо rеbооt уоur рhоnе (оr run thе fаѕtbооt rеbооt command frоm computer);
- If еvеrуthing wоrkеd соrrесtlу, уоu ѕhоuld ѕее a nеw mеѕѕаgе аt bооt ѕtаting thаt уоur bооtlоаdеr iѕ unlосkеd, аnd аftеr a fеw ѕесоndѕ it ѕhоuld bооt intо Andrоid.
