Android 4.3 Jelly Bean is finally out
As you are probably aware, Google had an event yesterday, during which they announced the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. The company also stated that the update began rolling on Nexus devices since yesterday, and also mentioned the changes that are coming along with it. Besides that, factory images have been released and made available through AOSP (Android Open Source Project), which means that users will be able to download them. The update is also available for the Galaxy Nexus, but it doesn’t include the Verizon model. We know you have been waiting for the update for a long time, but we are suggesting you’d wait for the over-the-air update to arrive, this method being easier.
We first heard that Android 4.3 is hitting Nexus devices about a week ago, along with some changes that would come with the update. Also, the Google Developers site has images listed for most of the newer Nexus devices like the Google Nexus 10, Nexus 7 (WiFi), Nexus 7 (cellular) and Nexus 4, as our source points out. The update is available under the code-name JWR66V. As for the first smartphone to get the Android 4.3, we already told you, at the beginning of July, that it would be the HTC One Nexus. Another device that is going to receive the update pretty soon is said to be the Samsung Galaxy S4.
