Galaxy S5 Firmware with S Voice App, S Note, Gear Manager and Much More
The Samsung Galaxy S5 firmware from Samsung was rolled out into the air a couple of hours ago, way ahead the official launch of the flagship which is due in around three weeks. A lot of smartphone magazines and online publications confirm that the firmware is good to go, as it was already downloaded and provided them with a lot of goodies. Among the new fresh apps that the firmware has brought along is the S Voice app, which seems to be more accurate than the last version, with an official APK to be downloaded and installed on your wonderful Galaxy device.
With all that, bear in mind that the application only works on devices running Android 4.4 KitKat, and that would be Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3, which are the only ones sporting this updated operating system so far.
Apart from the S Voice app that can be downloaded just by hitting this link, you can also enjoy other apps that the fresh Galaxy S5 firmware is bringing.
A member from the XDA forum has leaked a full list with other important APK files from the S5, apps like S Note, Calculator, WatchOn, Gear Manager, Gear Fit, S Health or S Translator. Since the APK files were announced before the unveil of the S5, all apps come with a revamped interface that look better and cleaner, and can also be easily downloaded and used on your Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3.
With all that, there might be some apps that are not working as they should. We are talking about the same XDA forum stating that the S Health for instance, isn’t properly working as it freezes at a certain point. More than that, the Gear Fit Manager app can`t be installed if you don’t own a Gear Fit wearable.
Overall, they are good apps for your Galaxy devices that only run Android 4.4 KitKat system. You can try them just by hitting the link button. Make sure you tell us what you think or if you had any issues along the process. They should work just fine with a root access requirement. Cheers and don’t forget to write!
