Huawei Ascend P6S Is Already Available on Huawei’s Online Store
Everyone knows that Huawei Ascend P6 was a major step forward for this company when it comes to design, but we cannot say the same thing about its technical details too. There is plenty of space for improvement at this chapter! So, that’s the ideal time to be talking about its successor currently known as Ascend P6S. We were really surprised to find out that it is already available on Huawei’s online store, but we must warn you from the beginning that not everything turned out as we have hoped for.
We want to remind you that the original Huawei P6 version is equipped with a 1.5 GHz quad-core chip, and this new Ascend P6S seems to be indeed better thanks to its 1.6 GHz quad-core processor.
But that’s still a long way until seeing the initially rumored octa-core CPU that we are all dreaming of. Even more, the actual manufacturer is still unknown at this point, but we tend to believe that it could be none other than the HiSilicon Kirin910.
When it comes to its other technical specs, we have discovered here a similar 4.7-inch display (a 720p model, to be more specific, which doesn’t stand a chance when it comes to competing with all the other 1080p displays), as well as 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. Is this number good enough for all your data? Probably not, so that’s exactly why you’ll need some additional memory too. As for those 8 megapixel rear camera and 5 megapixel front-facing one, they are both unchanged as well, not to mention that the new Huawei Ascend P6S features the same Android 4.2 OS version running out of the box.
So, as our source also mentions, we have only received an improved CPU and nothing more than that! Pretty disappointing, isn’t it? Anyway, if you still think that this is what you are looking for, the smartphone is currently available on Huawei’s online store for 2,688 CNY ($444).
